GOALS & ASPIRATIONS // what we know

The City of Tulsa and the Leadership Committee have kicked off a year-long planning process that will focus on future redevelopment of key sites within the Kirkpatrick Heights / Greenwood area of North Tulsa. The master plan will be community-driven and intentional in engagement and outreach.

Goals for the planning process include:

1. Create a community-driven process
2. Preserve and celebrate the legacy of historic Black Wall Street
3. Determine ownership, control, and economic benefit
4. Promote sustainable infill and economic development
5. Introduce much needed housing
6. Bridge the physical divide and isolation
7. Improve public realm and public spaces
8. Introduce high-quality development standards and design guidelines
