Vanessa Hall Harper

Vanessa Hall-Harper currently serves as the Tulsa District 1 City Councilor and has held her seat since 2016. Her previous roles include involvement on the City Sales Tax Overview Committee and being a cofounder of the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce. She is passionate about uplifting her community and volunteering her time and energy. Vanessa attended Jackson State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-Law in 1993. She also received a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of Tulsa and later returned to earn a Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree from Southern Nazarene University.
