Community Meeting Highlights Progress on Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood Master Plan Implementation
On June 27, more than 50 community members joined the Greenwood Legacy Corporation and PartnerTulsa for a community-wide meeting to hear updates on the implementation of the Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood Master Plan.
During the meeting, the TIFIA consultant team shared an overview of the implementation effort now underway, including the work completed to date, current activities, and next steps. The presentation highlighted progress on technical analysis, stakeholder coordination, and organizational capacity building that will help move the Master Plan from vision to implementation.
Project updates included:
- Conducting technical stakeholder interviews with City departments, community organizations, and implementation partners to inform future implementation decisions.
- Evaluating the three publicly owned opportunity sites to refine development scenarios, infrastructure needs, and implementation strategies.
- Working with the Greenwood Legacy Corporation to strengthen organizational capacity and identify the partnerships and resources needed to support long-term implementation.
